Once upon a time... there were two very good friends, Sarah Baroni and Cathy Witkos, who shared similar interests, including creating beautiful jewelry. After college, both girls ended up in San Francisco, spending their days with great friends, making road trips, tasting wine, biking, running and exploring Northern California. They made lots of jewelry and sold it to local San Francisco galleries. Today, 16 years later, Baroni Designs reflects the very ideals that made it happen in the beginning—an appreciation for understated but beautiful handcrafted sterling silver jewelry, a commitment to quality and integrity and a love for what they do. As artists and designers, Sarah and Cathy design each piece to exacting standards of quality. Aesthetically, each design must feel good, look good, and be simply beautiful. Cathy, Sarah and the entire staff at Baroni Designs design their collections with their heroes in mind—the moms, the yogis, the marathoners, the teachers, the artists, the surfers, the writers, the gardeners—celebrating the playful, the strong, and the beautiful women who wear their jewelry and shine—from the inside out. Sarah Baroni has been creating her collection of hand-crafted sterling silver jewelry since 1991, in Arcata, California. She is inspired by the natural beauty of her home town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, as well as the North Coast of California where she now lives. It is the organic artistry that resonates in the jewelry Sarah designs—striking pieces and a style that is refined, unique and timeless. Her designs are classic and elegant, and know no season.
